North-American Interfraternity Conference

  • On April 23, 2006, Beta Chi Theta became the only nationally recognized South Asian fraternity through its acceptance of membership into the North-American Interfraternity Conference (NIC). Additionally, at seven years of age, it is also the youngest fraternity ever to become a member of the NIC.[citation needed]
  • All chapters and colonies of the fraternity are either members of their host institution's Inter-Fraternity Council (IFC) or are currently pursuing membership.
