Katharine Elizabeth "Betty" Garde[1] (September 19, 1905 – December 25, 1989) was an American stage, radio, film, and television actress. She was best known for playing the role of Aunt Eller in the original Broadway cast of Oklahoma!, but her long acting career also included film, radio, and television. Garde was featured in the 1950 movie Caged. She also appeared in Call Northside 777 (1948) and Cry of the City (1948). Her many television credits include appearances on The Honeymooners and The Twilight Zone. Garde died at the age of 84 in Los Angeles.[1]
