Bibounde
Bibounde is the hero and title character of an illustrated children's book in French by Michel Gay, published in 1984. Bibounde, a baby Emperor Penguin, is the child of the Emperor and Empress, the Alpha male and Alpha female of their community. He seems to be the only baby in the community (in this being very different from real-life baby Emperor Penguins, who normally have many peers). He is pampered and mischievous but generous, gentle and kind.
