AnswerNote:

bicomponent fibers

Bicomponent fibers or conjugate fibers are fibers that are made from a process in which two polymers are extruded from the same spinneret, when both polymers are contained on the same filament. Co-spun fibers are also made of different polymers that are spun from the same spinneret, but in this case there is a single polymer on each filament.
