The legendary Bigfoot is no longer mere legend. The giant, white-haired monster has been discovered atop a snowy mountain, and as a brave mountain climber, you must scale snowy ledges, gather food and gold, and cage the raging behemoth. Your guide can't be found, so proceed with caution from the center bottom ledge of the mountain. While you ascend by throwing ropes to overhanging ledges and scaling them, Bigfoot hurls snowballs and eagles swoop down to grab at you or your rope. Along with avoiding the eagles and snowballs, you must be careful not to fall more than one level off a ledge. Once you have collected all the gold and food on a mountain (twelve items in all), you can prepare to cage Bigfoot. After capturing the beast, you will progress to the next of six different mountain screens. The game continues until all your explorers have perished. Bigfoot supports Milton Bradley's MBX Expansion System to add voice to the game.

Roots & Influences
Bigfoot has much in common with Roc 'N Rope (1983), which also uses a rope to climb mountains, and Crazy Climber (1980), the first videogame to feature a climbing character.
