William E. Herchman (March 10, 1933 – January 22, 2009) was an American football defensive tackle in the National Football League for the San Francisco 49ers and the Dallas Cowboys. Herchman also played in the American Football League for the Houston Oilers. He played college football for the Texas Tech Red Raiders and was drafted in the third round of the 1956 NFL Draft. He was born in Vernon, Texas.
