William Alfred Whittle is an author, blogger, essayist, and the host of Afterburner on Pajamas TV. His blog, Eject Eject Eject is now a part of Pajamas Media.
A self-described "writer, pilot, TV editor and American", he is the author of the book Silent America: Essays from a Democracy at War ISBN 9780976405900 . Published in 2004, the 304 page book contains a collection of his essays.
Whittle achieved some renown amongst Conservative political circles, for his refutation of comedian Jon Stewart's assertion that the bombing of civilians at Hiroshima constituted a war crime by then US President Harry Truman. [1]
