William The "Billy" Buffalo (debuted 2000 in Orchard Park, New York) is the official mascot of the NFL's Buffalo Bills. He is an eight-foot tall blue American buffalo and became the team's full time mascot in 2003.

Popular culture

On the September 17, 2009 episode of The Colbert Report, Stephen predicted which NFL stars will cause the most controversy during the NFL season. Stephen predicted that Billy Buffalo will impregnate the entire cast of 60 Minutes.[1]
