Billy Grenfell
Gerald William 'Billy' Grenfell (March 29, 1890 - July 30, 1915), was the second son of Lord Desborough and Ethel Priscilla Fane and a younger brother of Julian Grenfell a British poet of World War I.
He was educated at Eton College and Balliol College, Oxford.
He was killed in action at the age of 25 on July 30, 1915, leading a charge near Hooge, Belgium. His body was lost in the mud and never recovered.
His name is inscribed on the Menin Gate
