Long before there was Emeril or Paul Prudhomme, there was The Galloping Gourmet. This program shows how Graham Kerr charmed television audiences with his quirky humor and culinary knowledge, making his pioneering cooking show a runaway success. His philosophy was that if a little of an ingredient was good, then more would be better. The resulting gastronomic concoctions were delicious, but not destined for endorsement by the American Heart Association. Archival film clips from The Galloping Gourmet are included. Interviews with family, friends, and colleague Julia Child recall Kerr's appeal, and the event that changed his life and his cooking style. ~ Rose of Sharon Winter, All Movie Guide
