Plot

The Bedouin system of justice is a harsh one, in keeping with the landscape in which they have existed for countless years. Of their laws, the Bisha is perhaps the most challenging, involving a pan that has been heated to a high temperature. The accused are expected to lick the pan; a burnt tongue is an indication of guilt. In Bisha -- The Awesome Fire Test, three individuals submit to the grueling test: a woman thought to be an adulterer, a man accused of treachery, and a possible murderer.
