Bishop of Richborough

In the Church of England, the bishop of Richborough is a provincial episcopal visitor for the whole Province of Canterbury, licensed by the Archbishop of Canterbury as a "flying bishop" to visit parishes throughout the province who are uncomfortable with the ministrations of their local bishop who has participated in the ordination of women. The role is named after Richborough.

The present Bishop of Richborough is the Rt Revd Keith Newton, who succeeded the Rt Revd Edwin Barnes in 2002.
