Bishopsgarth is a part of Stockton-on-Tees in County Durham, in England. Bishopsgarth is an estate on the Western outskirts of Stockton-on-Tees. It is part of Bishopsgarth and Elm Tree Ward which has a population of 6412. [1] There is a shopping parade and Bishopsgarth Comprehensive School. There are two pubs on the estate: the Five Alls pub which is located by the shopping parade, and The Mitre pub on Harrowgate Lane.
Governance
Bishopsgarth is currently controlled by the Liberal Democrats who won the 2007 local elections. [2]
