Game Description
Designed to celebrate the rich football traditions at historically black colleges and universities, Black College Football: The Xperience lets gamers head to the gridiron with 36 different teams, while two Guitar Hero-style modes also let players simulate the spectacular pageantry of halftime shows. The "Road to the Championship" mode finds players engaging in hard-hitting action as they climb to the top of the HBCU world, while "Classics" mode lets gamers re-live some of the greatest moments from the storied histories of the Southwestern Athletic Conference, the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association, the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, and the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference. The "Drum Line Challenge" lets two players use their controller or drum pad peripheral to compete in a head-to-head drum line competition, while the interactive halftime shows find players flexing their rhythm-action skills to improve the attributes of their football team. Those looking for a bit more history can also head to the Legends Museum to learn about all the famous players who graduated from historically black colleges and universities.~ Christopher Brown, All Game Guide
