Biography

Black Ocean Drowning first got its start in 1990 as a two-piece collaboration between vocalist Jeremy Tomkinson and guitarist Chris Hamilton. Although the group would go through a series of lineup and moniker changes, they soon found their place in 1997 as an outfit of goth, industrial, and metal. Settled in with the additions of Derek (keyboards), Toby (bass), and Jeff (drums), the Detroit quintet soon released its one and only album, Negative Life, through Medea Records in 1998. ~ Mike DaRonco, All Music Guide
