Blanche Sewell

Wikipedia: Blanche Sewell

Blanche Sewell (October 27, 1898 - February 2, 1949) was an American film editor.

She had hoped to work as an actress in Hollywood, but became a negative cutter and then an editor[1]. She was film editor on several notable MGM films, including The Wizard of Oz, though she did not live to see the film's spectacular success as a television perennial. She died aged 50.

She is interred in Inglewood Park Cemetery. Inglewood California.
