Poker Guide:

Bleed

This term refers to a player who is able to win a large amount of money by consistently winning small amounts.

SoundPoker Says: This is said to be the most successful way to win at poker. To win consistently is said to be more profitable than just winning big once. When winning in this manner patience is the key and many hands will have to be thrown away.

This term describes either a single sitting of poker, in which an experienced player "bleeds" a worse poker player, or it can refer to a player's ability to win over the long term.
