Bloomeria, a geophyte in the Themidaceae, was named for H. G. Bloomer (1821–1874) an early San Francisco botanist. It consists of three species of California and Baja California:

  • Bloomeria clevelandii S. Watson
  • Bloomeria crocea (Torrey) Coville
