The scene takes back to the Summer of 1979, South Side of Boston. Tristan, Eddie (aka E-Bone,) Marlon (aka Money,) and Simon. They were friends ever since they were in the 2nd grade. It shows them playing a basketball game against a 17 year old drug dealer, name Lanthan and his crew. Tristan and his friends win the game and the deal was that whoever wins gets $20. Lathan refuses to pay the money, which leads both crews into a bloody fistfight. A girl who watches the fight, go call for help. A drug lord name Benny, who's the biggest drug lord in the South End of Boston, who runs the drug game and the pimp game, and who Lathan works for. Benny orders his right hand man, Ray, to break up the fight. Ray asks Tristan and his friends how old are they. Tristan said their 14. Ray says for a 14 year old kid, he says they have heart. Going up against older kids. Ray orders them to leave, but they refuse, saying Lathan owes them $20. Ray orders Lathan to give them the money. Lathan says he doesn't have any money. Ray forcibly digs into Lathan's pocket only to find a big bag of weed. Ray says that's all he can do. Tristan’s says what he's suppose to do with this. Ray says the weed is worth more than the #20 and Tristan agrees to the deal. Before they leave, Lathan tells Tristain he's coming back for his shit. Tristain tells him he better hurry up before he finishes smoking his shit.
Tristain thanks the girl, Martine, for helping them out. The four meets up with a pimp name, Twinkie. He gives offers Simian money to buy himself a hoe. The four goes to E-Bone's house and they start smoking weed for the first time. E-Bone's uncle Pee-Wee, orders the four to give him the weed or he'll tell Ed's grandmother that Ed been smoking. Ed reluctantly gives Pee-Wee the weed. Pee-Wee has the four go to a drug dealer, name Sam, to buy some drugs for him. As the four are walking down the street, a car quickly speeds in the road. As Simon turns around he freezes. Tristain saves Simon from getting hit from the car. Simon looks curiously at the car.
They go to Sam to buy some drugs for Pee-Wee and a fight breaks out with a couple of dudes and Sam goes to break it up. With the drugs laying there. Ed refuses to pay and steals it, along with a whole stash of weed. Money, Ed, and Simon decides to smoke it. But Tristain has a better idea, he decides that they should sell at school, since they can't sell it in the streets because of Lathan and his crew. And they won't get in trouble because they're gonna be selling it to the teachers, since they saw their history teacher buying drugs from Sam. They start selling drugs at school and they get paid a huge amount, but since they have to pay back Sam for stealing his drugs, they decide to grow their own weed, which Ed does really well.
3 months later Ed is confronted by Lathan and his crew and they jump him for selling around Lathan's turf, Blue Hill Avenue. Meanwhile, Tristain goes to see his uncle, name, Rob, who owns a barbershop, which business isn't doing well. Tristain offers his uncle money to keep the barbershop open. Uncle Rob accepts it, saying if Tristan’s father found out, they'll be dead, but Tristain says he doesn't ever have to know. Uncle Rob talks to Tristain about the drug game, saying that, "Drug dealers don't have pensions, they don't have retirement funds, and they don't end up the hills. They end up dead or wishing that they were." He tells Tristain that he shouldn't stay in the drug game forever. To stop when he have enough money. To start investments. Legitimate investments. They gonna be partners in this business.
Money and Simon visits Tristain, while he's eating dinner with his parents and sister. They tell Tristain that Ed been jumped. They all visit Ed. His grandmother feeds Ed Jell-O. Ed asks if he can talk to his friends in private. His grandmother refuses to let Ed talk to his friends until he finishes eating. Tristain offers to feed him. As she leaves, Tristain tells Ed he ain't feeding him, to Ed's delight. They asks Ed what happened, saying that it makes no since for Lathan jumping him over a couple of ounces of weed 3 months ago. Ed reveals that he was selling on the streets. They all get pissed at him saying they agreed to sell at school. Ed says that there's more money on the streets. He shows them the large amount of cash he made in the last 3 weeks, saying if they did this for months, or even years, they can get anything they want. Money says they still have to deal with Lathan. Ed tells them don't worry about Lathan. Ed shows them a gun his friend gave him. Tristain, Money, and Simon decide to let Ed rest. With Ed saying he was gonna tell them about him selling on the streets. Just wanted to see what was on the streets.
At school, Tristain flirts with Martine. He buys her an expensive necklace. She knows Tristain is selling drugs, but Tristain says, he's not a drug dealer, saying he just helps his friends from time to time. She makes him promise not to sell drugs and Tristan agrees.
Meanwhile, Tristain breaks his promise and Tristain, Money, Ed, and Simon get their hands on some guns and they barge into Lathan's crib and they open fire injuring Lathan's crew. They shoot Lathan in the kneecap. Lathan orders Tristain to shoot him because if he doesn't he will kill them. Surprisingly to Lathan, Tristain fires 3 times hitting Lathan 3 times in the chest with bullets. Tristan narrates that he read a book about World War, where this guy kill a guy for a first time and when he kills other people, he's sees the first guy he kills over and over again. Tristan agrees, stating through the upcoming years, he'd killed other guys, but when he kills a guy, he sees Lathan's face over and over again. They watch Lathan die. And they leave. Since Lathan is out of the picture, Tristain, Money, Ed, and Simon are now the drug dealers of Blue Hill Avenue. They're now gangsters.
At school, everyone finds out what they done to Lathan. And they get mad respect, except the girls, especially Martine. She refuses to talk to him. Ray tells the "4 Brothers" the nickname of Tristan’s group that Benny wants to see them.
The meet Benny and Benny knows they took out his crew. He offers the 4 to join his crew, working for him. Instead selling weed. They start the selling the drug cocaine, other term as "Crack" They decide to join the crew. And that's what starts the Crack Epidemic.
12 years later, now grown men, at age 26, Tristain goes to Uncle Rob's barbershop, which was robbed the previous night. 2 police officers, Terrance and Tyler, who started to investigate the "4 Brother" for their drug dealing. Tristain doesn't crack. The 2 officers leaves and Tristain starts yelling at Uncle Rob for letting the cops in here. Rob tells Tristain he didn't let them in and tells Tristain never to talk to him like that again. The robbers stole a couple of dollar bills and some change. Tristain makes a deposit of $4000. Rob opens the safe and gives the money to Tristain. Rob tells Tristan the reason the neighborhood changed because of Tristain, Ed, Money, and Simon. People are willing to rob and to kill for crack. Tristain tries to deny it, but Rob says Tristain has a reputation of killing people. Considering Tristain, Ed, Money, and Simon the mob. Calling them the biggest crack dealers in the South End. Tristain replies, "Fuck you, old man." And angrily walks away.
Tristain, Money, Ed, and Simon run a drug factory. Ed makes the drugs, Simon the muscle, Money runs the prostitution, and Tristain the smart one. They all have their own crew. Making a successful drug business.
Tristain goes home to see his wife Martine, the same girl he went out with 12 years ago. She's upset that after 12 years, Tristain is still in the drug game. She asks Tristain to quit the drug game. Tristain angry that she and Uncle Rob are blaming him about the neighborhood. Tristain insults Martine and says that he been there for Martine ever since 12 years ago. He says he can't quit the drug game, saying Ed, Money, and Simon needs him. Martine is annoyed that he's doing this for his friends instead of his wife. She tells Tristain that she's pregnant. She didn't tell Tristain as soon as he came inside was because she wanted to see if he would quit because she ask him to. Simon calls Tristain telling him to meet him, Money, and Ed, at the bar. Tristain tells Martine that he'll be right back.
Tristain meets up with Money, Simon, and Ed and Simon gets a call from Benny saying he wants to meet them. As they leave, some drug addicts attack the four which the 4 fights off easily. The 4 meet Benny and his right hand men, Ray and George. They also meet Benny's lover, Nicole, who Ed takes a liking to. Benny has the "4 Brothers" close the drug game in Blue Hill Avenue. He wants to start the pimp game, saying too many hoes are getting killed from the drug game. He wants Blue Hill Avenue to be known as pussy. And pussy only. Benny wants the "4 Brothers" to start a drug factory in Rohde Island. They got 6 weeks to close the drug factory in Blue Hill Avenue. Ed rejects the idea. George tells him they can make them to went to do, which Simon disagrees. Before anything gets out of hand, Tristain agrees to the idea. He makes a deal to cut 50% off the cash they're owed. Then in six weeks, they get paid their original amount plus 25%. George thinks that's a bad deal, but Benny agrees. The 4 leaves. Benny talks to Ray and George. Ray thinks the 4 got it together real good. Benny says that he wants Tristain taken out, since he's the smart one, without Money and Ed, they ain't shit. George says how are they gonna get to Tristain with Simon watching his back. Benny already arranged that. Benny has Ray call Twinkie and two other of his friends.
As the "4 Brothers" are driving, they talk about the stupid deal Benny had. Tristain knew the deal he made was stupid, but he didn't want to push it. Knowing Benny doesn't want to do business. Benny wants to take them out. Tristain thinks because over the past 12 years, they been hard to control. So by killing them, Benny can get all the profits they made over the past 12 years. Saying that nobody cares about the pimp game. Tristain says they have two choices: even they go to war with him, or they quit the game. Remembering his Uncle's words 12 years ago, Tristain doesn't think he can be in the game forever. Everyone else doesn’t want to quit. Ed gets all heated up saying they should kill Benny and his crew and get a better deal that way. Ed also insult Tristain for quitting the game over "fucking bitch," (referring to Tristan’s wife) Tristain says he's gonna let that slide, because he knows Ed is angry, but Tristain says if Ed calls his wife a bitch one more time, Tristain will kick his ass. Tristain and Ed argue and Tristain step out of the car to walk home.
Simon and Tristain meet up the next morning. Ed and Money don't show. Simon shut off all the lights in the drug factory, to make it look like they close it down. Before the situation escalates into violence, Nicole, breaks it up and tells Jack she knows the Tristain, Money, Simon, and Money. Jack writes down his name and phone number and has Nicole pass on to them. Jack says he got a deal for them and the if they don't contact him in by tomorrow night, Jack will return back to Miami. He also says that this deal will mean a whole lot of dough and he might give money to Nicole if she gives the information to the group, stating Nicole could probably start her own business.

Tristain angrily stares at Martine. Martine says she don't know anything and says that they don't want to help Tristain, they just want to help there selves. Before she goes inside, Terrance says that if she won't let them help Tristain, he's dead. Martine tells them to, "Fuck off." Martine gets inside the house and Tristain walks up on her. He asks where has she been and Martine said didn't he read her note. Tristain the note and reads it, which says that she's going to the repair jewelry shop that will fix the broken necklace that Tristain got her 12 years ago. The note also says she will stand right by Tristain no matter what. Tristain asks Martine she would tell him something if it was important. Martine says of course. Tristain says that "trust is everything and without it, there's nothing." Tristain asks what were Terrance and Tyler doing near his house. Martine claims she don't know and Tristain lets it go. To change the subject, Martine said she's gonna lie down, saying she don't feel good, claiming it's probably the baby. Tristain is curious if he can trust anyone.
E-Bone meets up with Tristain, Money, and Simon. They discuss how to ambush Benny. Money says his crew ain't down with going to war with Benny, stating they fear him. Simon's crew is in. E-Bone says if Simon's crew is in, so will his, stating that his boys respect Simon. Tristan’s crew is in also. Simon is having second thoughts about the ambush, thinking about Terrance and Tyler, which he doesn't reveal. Tristain, Money, and E-Bone are suspicious of why Simon is having second thoughts. Simon thinks that Benny doesn't have anything planned for them. Tristain makes a comment asking is Simon scared of Benny. Simon furiously chucks a glass bottle at Tristain, which misses him, asking, "EVER SINCE WE'VE BEEN COOL, WHEN I HAVE EVER BEEN PUNKED BY ANYONE?" Tristain says no and they apologize. Simon catches up to Tristain saying he's sorry and they can't lose each other like this. Tristain, still angry says he saw the way Simon looked at him. Tristain tells Simon to step off his car. A woman offers sex to Simon for drugs. Simon shoves her away. She offers Tristain the same thing, but stops herself recognizing Tristain. Both Tristain and Simon claims that might be Tristan’s little sister, Tonya. It's in fact her. She's a drug addict, high on the drugs that Tristain sells. Tristain and Simon rush to bring Tonya to the hospital.
At the hospital, Tristan's parents shows up and Tristain ask why didn't they tell him that Tonya was missing(she's been missing for weeks, people putting up MISSING POSTERS) The father claims that there was nothing that Tristain could have done. The doctors tell the parents that Tonya has a hole in her throat and they were able to stop the bleeding. She's in stable condition and the parents can see her. Before Tristain leaves, his father asks Tristain a question, "We provided you with a good home. Could have been anything you wanted to be. But why, Tristain? Why do you sell drugs?" Tristain didn't know how to answer his father's question stating that he was loyal to his boys, like a healing and a curse at the same time. But Tristain responds, "Because I'm good at it." Simon asks Tristain what they are going to do. Tristain says he's out of the game, saying the price is too hot.
Later at night, E-Bone goes home and sees Nicole sitting in a chair, nude. They have sex and they smoke a cigarette. Nicole pushes E-Bone into calling Jack, saying there's something in it for her. Nicole reveals that Benny is ripping Tristain, Money ,Simon, and E-Bone off, saying their supposed to be getting $19,000. But Benny is giving them $15,000. E-Bone is curious as to why Nicole would want to leave Benny. She states that he doesn’t pay her enough or show her love like E-Bone does. E-Bone thinks Jack is a cop, but Nicole says she been in the game for a long time to see a cop when she sees one and she says that Jack is not a cop. E-Bone asks if he calls Jack, is she willing to go up against Benny. Nicole says, "You're gonna ask me that? After what we just did?" E-bone claims she got a point.
Late at night Simon has a bad dream about the car that almost hit him 12 years ago. He wakes up from the nightmare, sweating and there's a knock on the door. Suspecting its Benny, Simon draws his gun and Simon looks through the peek-hole and finds out its Twinkie. Twinkie says he got to tell Simon something. Simon tells Twinkie not to come up to his crib this late at night. Twinkie tells Simon to stop acting like a little bitch. Twinkie acts all nervous, which Simon notices and Twinkie reveals that Simon's mother used to be one of Twinkie's hoes. Simon is not surprised stating he knew that already. So Twinkie asks Simon did she ever tell Simon about his father, which Simon says no, stating that his mother said he was a sales worker. Twinkie reveals that she lied, saying that he's his father. Twinkie says, "I also made a promise, to myself... that if one of us...dies, we both know the truth. Twinkie starts coughing uncontrollably and Simon is suspicious and asks Twinkie is he sick and Twinkie asks Simon to grab him a glass of water. Simon leaves his gun on the table and when he comes back to give Twinkie some water, Twinkie takes out a gun out of his jacket, which surprises Simon. Twinkie asks Simon why didn't him and his friends killed Benny while they had a chance. Saying that they made Benny to nervous, they were becoming too large, which gave Benny an excuse. Twinkie also asks why they didn’t close down business at Blue Hill Avenue. Simon said they closed the place down, but Twinkie said one of his friends is still doing business. Twinkie apologizes to Simon, saying he got orders from Benny to kill Simon. Simon looks at his pistol he left at the table, which he won't make on time. Simon says that if Twinkie kills him, Tristain, E-Bone, and Money will hunt Twinkie down until he's dead. Twinkie respond by saying, "There're gonna be dead right after you." Simon walks towards Twinkie and Twinkie shoots Simon 6 times. Twice in the legs, twice in the stomach and twice in the chest. Before Twinkie leaves, he walks over to Simon and shoots him one last time in the stomach. Twinkie leaves and says to the dying Simon, "Forgive me, son." As Simon is dying, Simon uses his own blood to write Twinkie's name on the wall, letting Tristain, Money and E-Bone know who killed him. But Simon only writes TW, and then he dies.

Tristain is in total pain about Simon's death, so is Money and E-Bone. Tristain asks them did anyone heard about who pulled the trigger. E-Bone says that no, but someone said that when they found Simon's body on the floor, on the wall it said, TW, with blood on the wall. Tristain is thinking that Benny never wanted him, he just wanted Simon. Tristain thinks to himself, TW, and he tells Money and E-Bone he knows who killed Simon. He said he'll tell them in the car. Before Tristain leaves, he talks to Martine saying he got to go. Martine knows he's going after whoever killed Simon. Tristain wants Martine to hide at her father's house, saying no one will find her there. She reluctantly agrees. Tristain sees Terrance watching the funeral by his car. Tristain thinks Martine is having a affair with Terrance. Martine says no. Martine reveals that a couple of months ago, they asked her if she needed anything, just give them a call. She they would help Tristain because she wanted Tristain out of the drug game so bad. Tristain suspects that she helped Terrance and Tyler plant a bug on Simon's car. She denies it and says that when Terrance and Tyler went to go see Tristain at the barbershop, she thought they were gonna help him, but all they did was harass him that day. Martine now knows that they used her to get to him. Martine apologizes to Tristain and he forgives her.

The audience finds out that Terrance and Tyler came to Tristain also about the tape they showed, E-Bone, Money, and Simon. Tristain figures out that they came to all of them, to pin one out of the other three out. E-Bone and Money tells Tristain, since Simon's gone, they need Tristain to stay in the game. Tristain says he's in. And they prepare to go after Twinkie.
Twinkie has sex with one of his hoes. He acts all nervous about Tristain, Money, and E-Bone going after him. The hoe asks Twinkie what’s wrong, but Twinkie doesn't want to tell her he killed Simon. The hoe leaves to go get her money. Twinkie has her grab him a beer before she leaves. While she goes to the fridge to grab him a beer, Benny calls Twinkie. Benny tells Twinkie that the boys he sent to kill Tristain, Money, and E-Bone, were killed. Twinkie tells Benny he told him that his boys wouldn't stop Tristain, Money, and E-Bone. Benny tells Twinkie to lay low for a while. Nervous and impatient, Twinkie yells to the hoe to hurry up a grab him a beer. The hoe finds the beer and when she turns around, Money goes up and puts his hand over her mouth. Tristain and E-Bone quietly walks up to Twinkie's room. Twinkie yells the hoe's name and when he hears no reply, he figures that Tristain, Money, and E-Bone are here. Twinkie grabs his gun and before Tristain and E-Bone can open the door, Twinkie fires at the door and he runs out of bullets. As Twinkie ducks down to grab his other gun, Tristain, Money, and E-Bone start shooting, hitting his pillow, his bed and before Twinkie can shoot at them, Money shoots him in the shoulder. Tristain puts his foot on Twinkie's neck and tells him he should have known they were gonna come after him. Twinkie said he knew they were coming. Tristain says before he kills Twinkie, Tristain wants to know why Twinkie killed his own son. His own flesh and blood. As the hoe watch what's going on, she begs Tristan not to kill him, which Tristan ignores. Twinkie is hestiant to answer, which makes Tristan tell Twinkie either he answer the question or he dies slow. Twinkie replies, "He looked nothing like me." Then Tristan, E-Bone, and Money all shoot him execution style. Before they leave, Tristan grabs something from Twinkie's dresser and Tristan, Money, and E-Bone leaves Twinkie's place, while the hoe cries over Twinkie's dead body.
E-Bone tells Tristan and Money about the information Nicole gave him. Tristain calls Jack from a telephone booth and Jack is suprised that Nicole actually came through. They decide to meet 14 miles from where Tristan's at. Jack tells him if Tristan and his boys aren't there by an hour, Jack and his boys will leave. The meeting is at a old warehouse. Tristan decides to book a motel near the warehouse so they can keep an eye on them, stating he doesn't want to get set up. Money suggest after the deal, they should move to St. Louis. Tristan decides that he ain't leaving Boston even though Benny got a hit on him. E-Bone feels Tristan on not leaving Boston, but he thinks without Simon, they can't beat Benny. Tristan says he'll take his chances. E-Bone asks Tristain if he's still rolling with him and Money. For a moment Tristan wanted to say no, he's done. He's going home, but Tristan tells E-Bone he's down. E-Bone tells Tristan and Money he got to take care of something really quick and he'll catch up with them later. When Tristan leaves he tells himself that sometimes the word, "friends" will kill him.
E-Bone is taking Nicole somewhere, fearing for her safety. Terrance and Tyler confront E-Bone, trying to pressure him. E-Bone talks smack and Terrance puches E-Bone. Terrance and Tyler knows that Simon was killed over some drug shit. They also know that there's a drug deal, with Jack. Suprised that they found out about it, E-Bone listens to Terrance. He tells E-Bone that E-Bone goes to the drop, he wants at least one of Jack's boys or him, or all of them, dead. And he wants E-Bone to hold Tristan at gunpoint and call Terrance and Tyler, so they can pin the murder on Tristan. And E-Bone can walk free with the money and drugs. E-Bone is curious as to why they want Tristan so bad. They tell E-Bone that Simon is the muscle and Tristan is the smart one, stating that without them, E-Bone and Money would have gotten away with the things they did and saying that without them, they're worthless. Terrance falsely tells E-Bone that Tristan bugged Simon's car. E-Bone don't believe it, until Terrance tells him of course Tristan would say he didn't bug Simon's car, stating that all Tristan is doing is saving his ass. E-Bone claims that he'll find his own way of town. They pressure -Bone to take the bribe saying that if Tristan, Money, and E-Bone splited the money in three, there won't be enough for him and Nicole. Nicole states that they need the money. E-Bone tells Terrance and Tyler that he might agree with the deal. Terrance and Tyler wants to know E-Bone's decision right now, but E-Bone tells them, they do it his way or the deals off. They agree to it, but they kidnap Nicole, to make sure E-Bone don't try anything. E-Bone kisses Nicole goodbye, saying that everything will be okay. E-Bone walks away with Terrance telling E-Bone to do the right thing, leaving E-Bone, unsure who to trust or what to do.
The film returns back to the very beginning of the film when the drop goes down. When Money accidentally knocks over a bottle of wine, it crashes to the floor and E-Bone starts shooting and the drug deal turns into a shootout. Tristan, Money, and, Money are injured in the shootout, with Tristan and E-Bone shot in the shoulder and Money shot in the leg. E-Bone and Money kills all of Jack's men and there's a standoff between Tristan and Jack. Before Jack can shoot Tristan, Tristan gets to his gun faster and shoots Jack twice. One in the chest, the other to the heart. As he watch, Jack die. Tristan and Money question E-Bone as to why he started shooting. E-Bone says there's a change in plans. E-Bone calls Terrance and Tyler and tells them E-Bone's assignment is done and tells them to go get Tristan. E-Bone holds Money and Tristan at gunpoint and tell them that he made a deal with Terrance Tyler and reveals that he gave up Tristan. Tristan can't believe that E-Bone did this to his own best friend. Money tells E-Bone that Tristan and E-Bone are the only "family" he has left. He begs E-Bone not to do this and to put the gun down. E-Bone refuses to drop his weapon saying that Tristan never cared about them . Tristan claims he gave up everything for him. E-Bone refuse to believe that saying he did this for himself, claiming that E-Bone and Money were pawns in Tristan's game plan. Money tries to get the gun out of E-Bone's hand and E-Bone accidentally shoots Money in the chest. Tristan comes to Money's aid, saying that they're family and surprise that this is how E-Bone is treating them. E-Bone says he didn't mean to shoot him. He frustrately tells Money that for the past 12 years, Money knows not to move when E-Bone has a gun in his hand. E-Bone tearfully tells Money he's sorry. E-Bone prepares to shoot himself in the head, but Money aplogizes to E-Bone and he shoots E-Bone in the heart, E-Bone and Money both die. Money dying in Tristan's arms. Tristan takes off his jacket and cover Money's dead body. Tristan quickly leaves with the money and the drugs.
Terrance, Tyler, and Nicole arrive at the warehouse to see everyone dead, except Tristan. Nicole rushes over to E-Bone's body, crying over it. She asks Terrance and Tyler, what's gonna happen now. Terrance answer that by shooting Nicole dead in the stomach. She dies lying to E-Bone's body. and put the gun in her hand, to make it look like, she killed accidentally shot E-Bone and she shoots herself, since Terrance had gloves on, his fingerprints won't be on the gun. Terrance calls Benny telling him everything went down except Tristan is gone with the money and drugs. Benny is furious that they manage to get everyone except Tristan. Benny tells Terrance and Tyler that they don't work for Benny anymore, since they didn't kill Tristan. Benny tells them he'll take care of Tristan himself. Terrance hangs up and tells Tyler, "Come on, these fucking niggers don't know what they want." (The person that's writing this is black. So if you're mad about the comment that Terrance made, I know how you feel.) Terrance and Tyler leave the warehouse.
Tristan is at a diner reading about the death of Simon. Tristan leaves the diner and he grabs his sunglasses, his gun, and the suitcase with the money and drugs. As Tristan quielty barges in to Benny's office, he narrates that when he first walk right up in there he wanted to kill Benny for causing his 3 best friends of dying behind this drug game. Tristan hold Benny, Ray, and one of Benny's men at gunpoint. Tristan hands Benny the suitcas filled with money and drugs. Benny thinks that Tristan is going to kill him. Tristan tells Benny that he has everyright to kill Benny for all the pain and suffering he caused, but Tristan claims he did not come here to kill Benny. Benny is relieved to hear that, but he's curious that if Tristan didn't come here to kill Benny, then why is he here. Tristan tells Benny that there's two reasons as to why Tristan came here. One, that Tristan wants to prove that all the things Benny tried to do to kill Tristan, he's still standing, saying that Benny can never beat Tristan in this game. Second is that Tristan wants to quit the game. Saying that he stays in Boston, but he's out of the game for good. Benny doesn't believe Tristan is out of the game. Tristan states that he gave him the money and drugs and says if that's not enough, Tristan hands Benny the sunglasses and his gun. Now unarmed, Tristan tells Bennny that when he leaves Benny's office, he wants the slate clean between the two of them. Benny asks Tristain what makes him think that he will let Tristan walk out of here alive. As prepares to walk away, Ray and Benny's other right hand man aim their guns at Tristan's back. Benny tells his boys to hold their fire. Tristan stops walking and gives him two reasons why Tristan is walking out of here alive. One, Tristain knows he respect too much to shoot him in his back. Benny laughs at the comment and asks Tristain what's the second reason. Tristan plays a tape that he grabbed from Twinkie's place. Benny is suprised to see Tristan with the tape.
The film flashes back to when Tristan, Money, E-Bone, and Simon leaves Benny's office. Remember when Benny said that Money and E-Bone ain't shit and that Tristan needs to be taken out. And when one of Benny's right hand man said that they can't touch Tristan with Simon protecting him. Remember when Benny said that he got a plan to get rid of Simon. Benny tells his boys to call Twinkie, Terrance, and Tyler. The scene shows Benny, Twinkie, Terrance, and Tyler smoking cigars. Benny asks Twinkie for a favor. Twinkie agrees to do this favor for Benny. Benny wants Twinkie to kill Simon. At first, Twinkie asks Benny Simon who, but Benny asks how many Simons does he knows. Thinks Benny is joking, saying that Benny should know that Twinkie can't do that, asking does he knows that he's Simon's father. Benny says he knows that and that's why Simon won't be expecting it. Twinkie refuses the offer, saying if Benny's gonna shoot him for refusing so be it. Benny tells Twinkie that's not his style. Benny then asks Twinkie about one of his prostitutes 12 years ago.
The film changes to 12 years ago when the oncoming car almost hit Simon. Inside the car was one of Twinkie's white prostitutes and her boyfriend. The girl name was Monica. The boyfriend was speeding because he's mad that Monica been going out with a black pimp for 3 months, which he doesn't like black people. Monica yells at her boyfriend for almost hitting Simon. The boyfriend refers to Twinkie as a "black nigger" Monica defends Twinkie, saying that he loves her more than her boyfriend does. The boyfriend claims that he turn her out. Monica shouts that Twinkie is a better man that her boyfrined will ever be. The boyfriend stops the car in anger by her comment. Monica apologizes, but the boyfriend angrily chokes Monica to death.
The film changes back to Benny and Twinkie. Benny says the body was found near Sam's old place, the person that Tristan, Money, E-Bone, and Simon went to go see 12 years ago to buy some weed. Twinkie claims he had nothing to do with Moncia's death, claiming that the boyfriend was tripping out. Benny says that he thinks Twinkie caused the siutation to escalate to murder. Benny claims that he can have his "friends" make it look like Twinkie killed her. Twinkie says he done time in jail before, but Benny says that Twinkie never went to jail for murder, And this is Murder numer 1(murder in the 1st degree/1st degree murder) Benny says if the DA finds out a black pimp tricked a little white hoe and killed her, he'll either get the death penalty or lucky to get life in prison(without parole). Benny states that it comes down to Twinkie's life or Simon's which he never been there for, that his birth was a mistake. Twinkie begs Benny he can't kill Simon, not his own son. Benny says, "You brought him into the world and you can take him out." Benny says he wants Simon dead by the end of the week and if Twinkie doesn't do it, he'll make sure Twinkie will be charge for murder and stay in prison for life. Twinkie says that if he do this, Tristain, Money, and E-Bone will go after him and kill him. Benny laughs at the comment and tells Twinkie not to worry about Tristain and them, saying, "We have a fiesta plan for that motherfucker. Right after Simon's funeral." Twinkie relctantly and tearfully agrees to the deal and leaves.
Back to the present, Tristan said that Terrance and Tyler recorded the conversation and gave a extra copy to Twinkie just in case Benny double crossed Twinkie. Tristain figures out that, the meeting was just to give Terrance and Tyler the opportunity to bug Simon's car. Benny told them Tristain, Money, E-Bone, and Simon were gonna be at Benny's office. Tristan figures out that the 2 officers worked for Benny the whole time. Tristan admits that the cops were smart. Tristan says that on the tape the cops did not speak the whole time and Benny didn't call them by name, which leaves Benny to take the fall all by himself for the murder of Simon in the 1st degree. Benny orders Ray and his right hand man to put their guns down. Tristan hands Benny the tape for a suvenor, saying he has a lot of other tapes. Tristan tells Benny that he told his crew that if Tristan not back to the hideout by an hour, they will hand the police the tape, which will have the cops knocking on Benny's door. Benny agrees to leave Tristan alone. Tristan again states, "I told you, you can never beat me." And he leaves.
As Tristan is walking outside, he narrates that his sister, Tonya, is recovering from a stroke. His parents are strangers to jim, since he started dealing drugs and killing people. Tristan states that E-Bone was right. He didn't do it for friendship, he didn't for himself. E-Bone was the only who figured that out, which caused him to be angry. Tristan misses Money. He also misses Simon the mosr, finall y figuring out what was haunting him all these years, who his father was and the car incident. Tristan claims that the family he known for 12 years were dead because of him. Tristan angrily punches his steering wheel, yelling and crying in anger and sadness. A car suddenly pulls up behind Tristan's car. The driver gets out the car and taps the crying Tristan asking him is he going to move his car. Tristan moves his car and agrees it's time to move on.
Tristan meets up with Martine and hugs her and kiss her. Tristan narrates that if he, Money, E-Bone, and Simon didn't take the stash of weed at Sam's place, maybe none of this mess wouldn't have happen. Maybe even Lathan might still be alive. The film turns to black and white as Tristan turns to the audience saying, "But don't get it twisted. If I had a chance to do all again. I would it the same way I did it. My pass makes me who I am. Right or wrong. Good or bad. My pass shows me who I am. I was just who we were." The movie ends with Tristan and Martine looking back at when Tristan, Money, E-Bone, Simon, and Martine were teenergers 12 years ago.
