Biography

West Coast DJ Bobcat first gained recognition for his production work on LL Cool J's multi-platinum Bigger and Deffer lp. Deejaying for LL as well, Bobcat headed the group Microphone Mafia, which consisted of artists such as Yamel and Threat. In 1989 the producer released his own album, Cat Got Ya Tongue, and has since gone on to produce albums for such west coast rap stars as Eazy-E and Ice-Cube. ~ Steve Kurutz, All Music Guide
