History
Bodyrox's first single "Yeah Yeah" was first released as "Bodyrox - Rock ya body" in 2005. On October 30, 2006 it was re-released featuring vocals by Luciana, and enjoyed success with high levels of play in clubs, radio and music TV channels. It was described by both Nic Fanciulli and Paul Woolford as one of the biggest tunes in Miami, and reached #2 on the UK Top 40, also charting in the Netherlands and Finland.[citation needed] Its success arguably came from the D. Ramirez remix of the track that layered bendy synths[clarification needed] in the mix. It was this remix that constituted the backing track of the radio edit for the full release.[citation needed] This version of the song was used during a breakdancing competition in the 2007 Jamie Kennedy film Kickin' It Old Skool.
Bodyrox's follow up single to "Yeah Yeah" is "What Planet You On?". The music video features Luciana in space and the track has recently appeared on a Ford TV commercial.
