Marketing Dictionary: boilerplate copy

Standard sections of body copy that can be used again and again in print communications and/or advertising copy. An example of boilerplate copy is a paragraph or two detailing the history of a company, which can be used in correspondence, advertising proposals, company reports, newsletters, etc.
