Bombing of Osaka in World War II
The U.S. bombing of Osaka during World War II took place on 13th and 14th March 1945. This was done in much the same way, and to much the same effect, as bombings in Kobe, Nagoya, and many other major Japanese cities. It is said more than 10,000 Japanese died in these bombings.
