A river of central Africa rising in southeast Central African Republic and flowing about 805 km (500 mi) generally west along the boundary with Congo (formerly Zaire) to merge with the Uele and form the Ubangi River.

Bomu ('), river, c.500 mi (800 km) long, rising in NE Congo (Kinshasa) and flowing generally westward. It forms part of the Congo-Central African Republic border. The Bomu merges with the Uele to form the Ubangi, a tributary of the Congo.
