Plot
Bona was filmed in the Philippines by one of that country's most highly regarded directors, Lino Brocka. Nora Aunor plays Bona, a middle-class schoolgirl who falls in love with shiftless, ageing gigolo Philip Salvador. Bona moves in with the bum, and begins waiting on him hand and foot while he pursues other women. Salvador assumes he can dump the girl when he's tired of her and move on.
