Bornem (old spelling: Bornhem) is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Antwerp. The municipality comprises the towns of Bornem proper, Hingene, Wintam, Mariekerke and Weert. On January 1, 2006 Bornem had a total population of 20,064. The total area is 45.76 km² which gives a population density of 438 inhabitants per km².
