Bornhöved, a village near Segeberg, Schleswig-Holstein, at which was fought in 1227 a battle between the forces of the Count of Holstein and a Danish army. The decisive victory of the Holsteiners removed the threat of a Danish annexation of Holstein and Lübeck.

Bornhöved (German pronunciation: [bɔʁnˈhøːfət]) is a municipality in the district of Segeberg, in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. It is situated approx. 15 km east of Neumünster.
