Somewhere, Colonel Tom Parker is smiling -- the Starbucks-released Boy from Tupelo is yet another collection of Elvis Presley's seminal Sun Records singles, a surefire moneymaker the world needs as badly as it needs...well, another Starbucks. At least this exercise in redundancy is beautifully packaged, complete with new liner notes by Elvis authority Peter Guralnick, and the potency of the material remains undeniable.
