Brambleton is an unincorporated planned community in Ashburn, Virginia of Loudoun County, off the Dulles Toll Road. It is named for a plantation once located in the vicinity. Construction started on the Brambleton community in 2001. Brambleton is located 14 km (9 mi) south of Leesburg and 2.1 km (1.3 mi) northwest of Washington Dulles International Airport. It is home to Briar Woods High School, Legacy Elementary and Creighton Corners Elementary.
