Review

Well, brand new in 1991, anyway. Mason's one-man show at the Neil Simon Theater was captured for posterity on this disc, a set of typically rambling dialogue/monologues covering such topics as "Newscasters and Personalities," "Israelis, Terrorists and Arabs," "Health and Sickness -- Food Fads and Status," and "Gentiles and Jews -- The Difference." Because of his extra-thick Jewish accent and machine-gun delivery, those of you whose ears aren't attuned to his speech pattern would be advised to listen to this one on headphones lest the punch lines blur right by you. ~ Cub Koda, All Music Guide
