Brandon Som
Brandon Som is a writing instructor at New York University in the
United States. A native of Arizona, Som has deep roots in
his Chinese/Chicano background. Som received a BA in English from Arizona State University and an MFA in creative writing from the University of Pittsburgh. In 2006, he taught poetry at the
Pennsylvania Governor's School for the Arts. He has also
taught at Chatham College and aboard the educational ship Semester At Sea.
