Breadalbane (Scottish Gaelic: Bràghad Albainn, the upper part of Alba) is a region of the southern/central Scottish Highlands in Atholl. The Breadalbane hydro-electric power scheme lies within the region.

Clan Campbell has a Breadalbane branch, and it is also retained in the title of Earl of Breadalbane and Holland, and later, the Marquess of Breadalbane

The Breadalbane Gathering is a popular 2/4 March tune for the Great Highland Bagpipes.

Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park

Much of Breadalbane is in the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park.Ben More comes in as the biggest mountain in the national park. From the East of Breadalbane of Highland Perthshire like landscape (Killin and St Fillans), to Argyll Like Highland landscape (Tyndrum, near the mountainous Argyll Highland area of Loch Awe and Loch Fyne).

The Breadalbane area of the National Park is subdivided into four communities, covered by the community council areas of Balquhidder, Killin, St Fillans, and Strathfillan. [1]

Broadalbin, New York was named for Breadalbane.
