Review
The second edition in Volume's jungle compilation series contains very few marquee names of the drum'n'bass scene, but surprisingly, turns out much better than its predecessor. Concentrating mostly on intelligent and ambient jungle (unlike the darker sounds of Vol. 1), the two-disc set covers both the new breed (Underwolves, Klute, Justice) and more mature artists such as J Majik, Aphrodite & Mickey Finn, Kid Loops, and DJ Rap. As usual in the Volume series, included is a large, full-color booklet with interviews and features. ~ John Bush, All Music GuideTracks
