Brescia University is a coeducational Catholic university located in Owensboro, Kentucky, in the United States. It was founded in 1950 by the Ursuline Sisters of Mount Saint Joseph^[1] as Brescia College. It became an accredited university in 1998 with the addition of Master's degree programs in Curriculum and Instruction, and Management.

Athletics

The Brescia Bearcats participate in the NAIA (Division 1 for men's and women's basketball) and the KIAC. The Bearcats field 13 sports 7 for women 6 for men.
