The Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre is Brisbane's premier convention and exhibition centre.
The Centre can accommodate several conferences, exhibitions and other events simultaneously and all to the same high standards of excellence. Most notably featured is the Great Hall and four multi-purpose large sized visitor Halls. The Centre is home to trade shows, conferences, hobby and special interest group meetings and conferences all throughout the year.
The Centre is located in the heart of the capital of Queensland, Brisbane, adjacent to the popular South Bank Parklands.
The Centre played host to the Brisbane Bullets, a professional basketball team from 1998 until the withdrawal of the team in 2008. It is currently the home of the Queensland Firebirds who play in the ANZ Championship.
The Centre is built upon the former site of World Expo Park, the rollercoaster theme park built for the successful hosting of Brisbane's World Expo '88.
