Brisbane Entertainment Centre is located in Boondall, a Brisbane City suburb in Queensland, Australia.
The centre's large audience capacity is used for the staging of concerts, one of the most popular being the sellout tour of Pink, and musical theatre shows, including "Grease", "Beauty and the Beast", "The Man from Snowy River: Arena Spectacular" and the 2009 Viva la Vida Coldplay tour. Brisbane Entertainment Centre has also staged ice-skating shows, including "Disney on Ice". Britney Spears will be bring her Circus Tour here on November 22, 24 and 25, 2009. This will be her first visit to Brisbane.
The Brisbane Entertainment Centre was formerly the home of the Australian National Basketball League (NBL) basketball team, the Brisbane Bullets between 1987 and 1997, and was formerly the filming venue for the Australian series of Gladiators between 1995 and 1997, before the venue to the 2008 series was switched to the Dome in Sydney.
The centre has 11,000 tiered seats and a maximum concert capacity of 13,500. The largest basketball crowd was 13,221 in game two of the 1990 NBL Grand Final series between the home team and Perth Wildcats.
The arena has an assortment of seating plans which facilitate the comfort of its users, subject to performance. Specific seating plans usually are allocated depending on the performance and the size of its audience. The general seating arrangements at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre are end stage mode, "in the round", and intimate mode which only uses half of the arena.
The centre also has a sporting complex and many other smaller function rooms which are available to hire for wedding receptions, business functions and the like.

Events
Kylie Minogue performed there during her Showgirl: The Homecoming Tour in 2006. Pop/R&B singers Rihanna, and Chris Brown performed here during there tour together in Europe and Australia. Other artists to have performed at the centre include; Pink, Lady Gaga, Kelly Clarkson, Pussycat Dolls, Coldplay, Gwen Stefani & Kings of Leon. Pearl Jam have performed on two consecutive nights at the venue, on four occasions, in 1995, 1998, 2003 and 2006.
Also American, World Wrestling Entertainment , Britney Spears, Beyonce Knowles, hip-hop group Black Eyed Peas, Nickelback and rock music band Green Day will have their concerts throughout the second half of 2009.
Getting to the centre
Located in Boondall, users can catch a QR Citytrain to Boondall railway station, on the Shorncliffe railway line, or travel by taxi. There are 4,000 car parking stops and buses do not run to the centre. The Brisbane Entertainment Centre is located just off the Gateway Motorway.
