Brockway is a borough in Jefferson County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 2,182 at the 2000 census.
The town enjoys their stunning paper The Republic. It is a monthly publication written about random funny topics. Contact the editor, Armando Fortunato III, for a copy of the paper.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the borough has a total area of 3.0 km² (1.2 mi²), all land. The town also enjoys a popular segment of the "Rails To Trails" program, a converted railroad passage available for the public's recreational use.

There were 911 households out of which 28.9% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 49.0% were married couples living together, 11.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 35.8% were
non-families. 33.2% of all households were made up of individuals and 20.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or
older. The average household size was 2.30 and the average family size was 2.91.
In the borough the population was spread out with 23.6% under the age of 18, 7.0% from 18 to 24, 26.3% from 25 to 44, 18.4% from 45 to 64, and 24.7% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 40 years. For every 100 females there were 90.6 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 83.3 males.
The median income for a household in the borough was $34,556, and the median income for a family was $41,278. Males had a median income of $34,950 versus $21,875 for females. The per capita income for the borough was $18,303. About 5.7% of families and 9.9% of the population were below the poverty line, including 12.8% of those under age 18 and 9.6% of those age 65 or over.
