The Brooke Hills Spooktacular is a seasonal haunted attraction in Wellsburg, West Virginia.
History
The Spooktacular takes place in a 185+ year old farmhouse, built circa 1822 by the Gist family, who owned 750 acres (3.0 km2) of land known as "Happy Hills Farm". When much of the family died in the early twentieth century, the 750 acres (3.0 km2) were willed to Brooke County, becoming Brooke Hills Park. In 1986, one the volunteers saw this old century farmhouse for what it is now, a spookhouse.
