Long onramps connect Browns Line with Lake Shore Boulevard.

Browns Line is a short arterial route in Etobicoke, Ontario, Canada (now part of Toronto), spanning only two kilometres between Evans Avenue and Lake Shore Boulevard. The road is named for local farmer Joseph Brown, who owned farmland along Etobicoke Creek from Dundas Street to Bloor Street.[1]

Browns Line is an important north-south artery under the jurisdiction of the City of Toronto, extending from the ramps at the southerly end of Provincial Highway 427 at its intersection with the Queen Elizabeth Way and Gardiner Expressway, and traveling south to connect to Lake Shore Boulevard in the neighbourhood of Long Branch.

Browns Line is the core, and the main shopping street, for the neighbourhood of Alderwood. Civic improvements were undertaken in 2001 to create a gateway to the waterfront with a 24 metre high tower marking the southerly terminus of Browns Line. [2]

Transit along Browns Line is provided by the TTC's 123 and 123C Shorncliff and 110A Islington South bus routes, which run from Long Branch Loop to Kipling station and Islington station, respectively.
