Biography

Forming in 1996 in Vancouver, Canada, by Ian Somers (vocals, guitar), Shane Turner (bass), Glenn Delukas (guitar), and Chris Copeland (drums), Brundlefly seeks their own way on patterning conceptual pop. Their creations reveal additional and visionary conceptions for the alternative pop/rock style, mostly due to their enigmatic lyrics and soul melodic rhythms. After more than three years playing their soul guitar pop conceptions at local music clubs, the group finally decided to record its first album. After securing the production credits of Jeff Dawson, Brundlefly delivered Locked in This House, their debut and independently released full-length, in 2000. ~ Mario Mesquita Borges, All Music Guide
