The Brussels Bulls were a Canadian Junior ice hockey team that were based in Brussels, Ontario, Canada. They played in the Northern Junior D Hockey League and later in the Western Junior C Hockey League.

History

The Bulls played their first season in 1982 in the Northern Junior D Hockey League. In 1985, the league was absorbed by the Western Junior "D" Hockey League. In 1989, the Bulls were promoted to the more local Western Junior "C" Hockey League.

After a few tough seasons and folding during the 1998-99 season, the Bulls struggled financially and were sold off to the town of Goderich, Ontario where they became the Lakeshore Pirates in 1999.

The Pirates played some of their home games in Ripley, Ontario. As the Pirates, they had only garnered a single victory against the Wiarton Wolves 2-1 and the Walkerton Hawks 5-3 and had been defeated four straight times by the Mount Forest Patriots. Last place in the league, the Pirates folded barely halfway through November and never returned to the Ontario Hockey Association.

Junior hockey has not come back to Brussels, but in 2003 Goderich was awarded a new franchise known as the Goderich Sailors.
