Bryan Konietzko is the co-creator and executive producer of the popular animated series Avatar: The Last Airbender. He has also worked as a character designer at Film Roman for Family Guy and as Assistant Director for Mission Hill and King of the Hill. He was a Storyboard Artist and Art Director for the Nickelodeon animated series Invader Zim. He keeps an online photo journal which he updates regularly at www.bryankonietzko.com link title. Konietzko also has a band (at www.thisisginormous.com link title) for which he has released several albums, including Our Ancestor's Intense Love Affair and At Night, Under Artificial Light.
Konietzko graduated from Roswell High School in Roswell, Georgia, north of Atlanta, and then went on to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Illustration from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1998.
He presently resides in Los Angeles, California.
