Bryant & Stratton College is a proprietary college with campuses in New York, Ohio, Virginia and Wisconsin. Founded in 1854, the college offers two-year programs at all campuses and four-year programs at select campuses. This school began as a business institute but now is an accredited degree-granting college. [1]
Graduates of Folsom Business College in Cleveland, Ohio purchased Folsom Business College and established a number of business schools that operated under the name of Bryant & Stratton & Co's chain of International Commercial Colleges in most major US cities. By 1864 as many as 50 schools existed. Tuition was $40 for an entire program of study. [2]
Several other institutions trace their roots to Bryant & Stratton, including Chancellor University[3] and Bryant University.[4]
Bryant & Stratton College was founded in 1854 to provide practical workplace education, and was formerly known as Bryant and Stratton and Bryant & Stratton.
