Biography

After leaving Go Dog Go, singer/guitarist Eric Beetner and drummer Tim Christopher formed Build Your Own Monster, a band that drew more heavily from Dischord/Fugazi-style D.C. hardcore and indie rock. Bassist Annie Chang completed the lineup, which also employed occasional keyboards, saxophone, samples, and acoustic guitars. Build Your Own Monster issued their debut album, Giant-Sized Wonderment, in the summer of 2000. ~ Steve Huey, All Music Guide
