Hosted by Bryant Ashby, this half-hour cable TV series was, like many others of its ilk, dedicated to the rebuilding and redecorating of existing structures. The difference here was in approach and purpose. On each episode, an old jail, firehouse, winery, dance hall, church, police station, or what have you was converted into a private home, thereby assuming the distinctive "character" of its new owner.
