Marketing Dictionary: business reply mail (BRM)

Preaddressed cards, envelopes, labels, or cartons that can be mailed without prepayment of postage. After delivery of the mailing piece, the U.S. Postal Service collects the postage due, based upon a printed permit number on the envelope that identifies the addressee.
