Album Review: Buster Poindexter

Review

You can't experience Buster Poindexter's campy nightclub act on a studio recording, but you can get a sense of the material by listening to the Caribbean dance strains of "Hot Hot Hot" and the Wynonie Harris hit "Good Morning Judge." There are also a couple of good songs by one David Johansen. ~ William Ruhlmann, All Music Guide
