Sporty types can take advantage of the many forest and roadside cycle paths by renting a bicycle from one of the local agencies or bring one down on the train from Paris. It’s about 22 miles round-trip (on the relatively flat D906) between the two farthest towns in this section, Rambouillet and St-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse. Don’t forget that bikes are not allowed on the bus.
