The Baladobus (☎ 01 30 52 09 09, www.parc-naturel-chevreuse.org) sightseeing shuttle operates every Sunday from May through mid-October, going in a continuous loop between public transport stations and major sites, including the RER St-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse, SNCF Gare de la Verrière, Château Dampierre, Abbaye de Cernay, Chevreuse, Château de Breteuil, Granges de Port-Royal, and the Château de la Madeleine. Tickets cost €3.50, €2 for children and students.

The R Bus (☎ 01 30 59 84 33, www.monbus.com) operates several lines within Rambouillet from the SNCF station. Bus 71 gets closest to the Espace Rambouillet, and Bus 74 goes past the château and tourism office on the main street. The buses accept the same RATP tickets used in Paris (€1.30 each), or transportation passes for zone 5.

SAVAC (☎ 01 30 52 45 00, www.savac.fr) operates several bus lines from the Gare de St-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse to Rambouillet (line 039-303), Versailles (line 262-01), or the Gare de la Verrière (line 039-017). Service is limited, mostly weekdays 7am to 7pm. The buses accept the same RATP tickets used in Paris (€1.30 each), or transportation passes for zone 5.
