Despite the fact that Mulamkuziyil Sahadevan's (Oduvil Unnikrishnan) sole ambition in life is to grow up and become a police constable like his father, Mulamkuziyil's brother-in-law Peethambaran (Jagathy Sreekumaran) does everything in his power to ensure that this dream does not become a reality -- including sabotaging Mulamkuziyil's physical examination. Mulamkuziyil eventually does earn his badge thanks to a little help from his uncle, and when he uncovers a Mubai underworld plot to kill the Kerala Chief Minister's (Murali) life, Mulamkuziyil uses his loyal police dog and a truly unique police car to save the official.
